Head of State visited one of the largest and modern hospitals of Kostanay
STANAY. September 7. KAZINFORM /Pyotr Plakhotnikov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev surveyed a new 300-bed multi-field regional hospital in Kostanay as a part of his two-day working trip.
Talking with the hospital staff the President said that this hospital is one of the largest and modern hospitals of Kazakhstan.
The hospital project costs made 7.2 bln tenge, including furniture and medical devices. The square of the hospital is 33.2 thousand square meters. It groups a treatment and diagnostics centre, an isolation hospital and a consultative clinic.
"Thanks to new hospitals we have an opportunity to implement the up-to-date medical technologies. Another highlight is that the disease mortality rates have decreased by 23% on an average in recent years. The country's development depends on such indicators," the President stated.
