Head of State urged Government to develop investment policy issues in regions
ASTANA. January 29. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev urged the Government to develop the issues of investment policy in the regions addressing the nation with his annual message at the joint session of the Kazakh Parliament.
"We cannot reach forced diversification without the reform of the regional development therefore we must start formation of the centers on economic growth", - N. Nazarbayev stated.
According to the President West Kazakhstan must develop the oil-and-gas sector, chemical industry, production of equipment and transport capacity.
Astana and Almaty cities will play the role of centers on economic growth. In this regard the Head of the State urged the Government jointly with the governors of the regions as well as of Astana and Almaty cities to develop the issues of the investment policy in the regions.
