Head of State unveiled Astana festive events

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ An official flag-raising ceremony, symbolizing the start of the solemn events, devoted to the Astana Day, has taken place today with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Traditionally we start Astana solemn events with a flag ceremony. Astana has come into prominence. It is a Kazakhstan's brand, a sort of the country's gateway. We hosted the OSCE Summit, the OIC Summit; half of the world ranging from the US to Europe got acquainted with Kazakhstan. We held also the Asian Games, various economic forums, I mean the world has learnt about Kazakhstan through Astana," Nursultan Nazarbayev told during the flag-raising ceremony.
