Head of State familiarized with reconstruction of Zhenis Avenue in Astana

ASTANA. June 2. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the course of complete overhaul of Zhenis (Victory) Avenue on the section from Goethe street till Aliya Moldagulova street.
For the last time overhaul of Zhenis Avenue was conducted in 2001. This year it was decided to carry out not only capital repair of the highway, but comprehensive replacement of communications under it.
According to the press service of the Astana akimat (administration), this year over 100 km of roads will be constructed and repaired in the capital.
Today the President plans to visit several sites of the capital.
