Head of State departs to South Korea for two-day visit

Within the visit the President of Kazakhstan and President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak will take part in opening ceremony of the Year of Kazakhstan in South Korea.

The Heads of State will hold negotiations tomorrow, April 22. A range of bilateral documents is expected to be signed upon the results of the top level talks. Later the President will meet with the leadership of Seoul National University and several leading Korean companies.

The President is accompanied by Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev, Vice Premier - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, Assistant to the President on foreign affairs Kairat Sarybai, Assistant to the President on economic issues Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Culture Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed, Karaganda region's Governor Serik Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of "Samruk Kazyna" National Welfare Fund" JSC Timur Kulibayev.
