Head of 'Kazkosmos' requested Government to solve problems of further financing of 'Baiterek' project
ASTANA. December 6. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Mussabayev requested Prime Minister Karim Massimov to assist in solving the issue of further financing of the project on construction of the space Rocket complex 'Baiterek' in Baikonur.
'There is a problem of the realization of this project, it is in repayment of budget credits the grace period of which expired in November. In this regard we request you Mr. Massimov to hold negotiations on further financing of the 'Baiterek' project', T. Mussabayev said it at the sitting of the Government.
The Head of 'Kazkosmos' also said that scientific technical and ecological expertise on the project had already been held. The interstate examination of construction facilities is now conducted.
