Head of Kazakhstan's Aerospace Committee named

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been reorganized into the Aerospace Committee under the Ministry of Investments and Development in line with a governmental decree as of August 14, 2014, Kazinform has learnt from the committee's press service.
Talgat Mussabayev, the first Kazakhstani cosmonaut and eternal head of the agency for the past seven years, was appointed the chairman of the newly-established committee on August 21. Besides, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov named Talgat Mussabayev as his non-staff adviser in civil aviation and space issues last week (August 13).
