Head of Kazakh frontier service resigns amid Arkankergen incident

ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM Vice Chairman of the National Security Committee - Director of Frontier Service General-Major Nurzhan Myrzaliyev resigned his commission amid the incident at Arkankergen frontier outpost, Yergali Merzadinov, Chief Military Procurator, told a Wednesday briefing.
He also said that following results of the National Security Committee investigation administration of Shygys regional department, Usharal border detachment and Dostyk border command post was relieved from office.
