Head of Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs, Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan met

ASTANA. August 31. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Kazakhstan Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat lama Sharif met with Yeshaya Cohen, Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan, and new Rabbi of Astana city Shmuel Karnauh, the agency's press service informs.
During the meeting the parties shared views on further development of state and confessional relations. Kairat Lama Sharif highly appreciated active participation of Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel Yona Metzger in successful holding of three Congresses of World and Traditional Religions, and debated a number of issues concerning the fourth interfaith congress set for 2012 in Astana.
