Head of Karaganda land relations dept Daribekov arrested

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Head of Land Relations of Karaganda city Yernar Daribekov has been sentenced for 2 months in pre-trial detention, Kazybekbi district court reports.
Y. Daribekov is charged under Art. 307 part 1 of the Criminal Code ("abuse of power") in connection with illegal allocation of land parcels.
As Kazinform previously reported, Kazybekbi district court has authorized the arrest of the former Governor of Karaganda city Meiram Smagulov for abuse of power. He has been sentenced for 2 months in pre-trial detention.
September 26 the same court has authorized the 2 month arrest in pre-trial detention of the ex-Mayor of Karaganda region Baurzhan Abdishev who is also accused of abuse of power.
