Head of IPA CIS proposes to organize Promotion Courses

ST-PETERSBURG. January 15. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the IPA CIS, Head of the Federation Council (FC) Valentina Matvienko proposed to organize promotion courses for CIS citizens in the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry as in the post-Soviet space integration processes require improvement of cooperation in training.

«Currently the Customs Union is gaining momentum and the Eurasian Economic Union to be established soon, thus, it is important to strengthen coordination and cooperation of the diplomatic services of our countries», said Matvienko.

She noted that there were successfully conducted training courses for representatives of several Arab and Asian countries. At the same time Matvienko proposed business structures to consider establishing scholarships for people from CIS member-states.

Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry Yevgeny Bazhanov supported the idea of the FC Chairman. In particular he said that Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Belarus have already confirmed their willingness to participate in pronmotion courses programs.
