HC Barys Astana down Russian club in overtime in Yekaterinburg

ASTANA-YEKATERINBURG. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have outplayed HC Avtomobilist 2:1 in Kamenniy Tsvetok (Stone Flower) Ice Hockey Tournament in Yekaterinburg on Wednesday (August 27), Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Yevgeni Lapchenkov of HC Avtomobilist scored the opener in the first stanza, but Roman Savchenko from the Astana-based club responded with the equalizer 13 minutes later. It was Dustin Boyd of Barys who scored the game-winning goal in overtime. Barys are set to play their next game against HC Lada Togliatti today at 15:00 p.m.
