Halal Water - 'know-how' from Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - "Water is a priori halal, people should not do business on the holy concepts", outraged the representative of business circles of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ibrahim Mohammed Ali Zainal, answering the question of "Megapolis" newspaper about the standards of halal water and halal vehicle service station offered in our country.
Officially "halal" industry in Bahrain is regulated by the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Relations, however, tight supervision of the agency is not required. Apart from the material profit, producing halal products contain social responsibility, and the awareness of the spiritual dimension. The foreign businessman could not at first understand the meaning of halal water and halal vehicle service station which are offered in Kazakhstani market along with halal sunflower seeds and halal candy. Bahrain businessman said that the named products were nonsense. Water is a priori halal, and there cannot be any speculation, he said. Our foreign guest never understood the meaning "halal vehicle service station". "In Bahrain halal production is not strictly controlled. It is not necessary since entrepreneurs conscientiously fulfill all the requirements for halal production. If you believe in God, you must not violate the requirements of Islam in these matters", said Ibrahim Mohammed Ali Zainal. The halal products are also growing in popularity among non-Muslim consumers due to humane animal treatment concerns and the perception that halal products are healthier and safer.
