Gunmen attack former state executive official in S. Philippines
COTABATO, Philippines. August 19. KAZINFORM Gunmen shot and critically injured a former government executive official in southern Philippines, state police said Thursday. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The victim, lawyer Sindatu Ulama, then former regional director of Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao, was attacked by two assassins as he came out from a mosque Wednesday night in Cotobato, said Senior Superintendent Willy Dangane.
The lawyer sustained a gunshot wound near the back of the ear and now still in critical condition.
