Gross international reserves of Kazakhstan reach $103.4 billion
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Gross international reserves of Kazakhstan grew by 8.2% and reached USD 103.4 billion, this has been announced today at a briefing in Central Communications Service by the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev.
"Exports in the first quarter of the current year totaled USD 23.6 billion and increased by 11%. The export of goods in the Customs Union member-states amounted to USD 1.2 billion. Imports fell by 11.7%. Imports from the CU states decreased by 19.8% and reached USD 2.9 billion. Imports from other countries decreased by 9.7% and amounted to USD 5 billion", said Yerbolat Dossayev. He also added that gross international reserves of Kazakhstan reached USD 103.4 billion. The National Fund assets grew by 7.1% and amounted to USD 75.8 billion, foreign exchange reserves increased by 11.7% and totaled USD 27.3 billion.
