Governors of regions must control utilization of Road Map funds - PM
ASTANA. June 14. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged the governors of the regions to control utilization of the funds allotted for implementation of the Road Map program. He said it at the Government's telephone conference today, June 14.
As Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection Birzhan Nurymbetov said, the Road Map covers 3, 279 projects including 652 ones in housing-utilities sphere, 771 - in road repair, 1, 303 - in repair and reconstruction of social facilities and 1, 400 - in repair of socio-cultural facilities of cities and villages.
According to him, KZT 133 bln have been allocated for the repair work. KZT 54.9 bln of this sum or 41% have been utilized by local executives.
"107 thousand jobs have been created in total. 65 thousand people have been provided with work", the Vice Minister noted
