Governor of Aktobe region checked readiness of region for spring flood
AKTOBE. KAZINFORM - Governor of Aktobe region Arkhimed Mukhambetov checked the state of the water reservoirs of the region, their water discharge structures and the readiness of the rescue teams for the spring flood. He visited the biggest reservoirs of the region - Kargaly and Aktobe water reservoirs regulating collection and discharge of water in the Ilek and Kargaly rivers.
Head of the Aktobe branch of Republican State Enterprise "Kazvodkhoz" Bekzat Nametov reported on the technical state of the dams and other hydro-technical facilities in the region and their readiness for the flood. According to the information, the collection of water in the reservoir is held as scheduled and the state the dams and reservoirs allow to state that the situation will be under control during the spring flood. It should be noted that the situation regarding the readiness of Aktobe region and the city itself was discussed recently at the sitting of regional and city commissions established for these purposes. Mayor of Aktobe Erkhan Umarov who accompanied the governor during the inspection told about the preparation of all departments and services and the measures taken for preventing the spring flood affecting people.
