Governor of Abai region relieved of his duties

By presidential decree, Nurlan Urankhayev has been relieved of his duties as the governor of Abai region, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
Born in 1965, Urankhayev graduated from the Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute, Kazakh Finance and Economics Institute, East Kazakhstan State Technical University.
In 2019/22, Urankhayev headed the architecture, urban planning and land relations department of Nur Sultan city.
On December 1, 2022, he was appointed as the governor of Abai region.
The Head of State signed today a decree appointing Yermek Kosherbayeva as Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
