Government to provide all conditions for attraction of Austrian machine-building companies to Kazakhstan - Minister Issekeshev

Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev said at the Kazakh-Austrian Business Forum held at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Astana today.

"We have established the Customs Union together with Russia and Belarus which provides the investors with certain markets. Besides, we are keen on attraction of the so-called smart investment with technologies to Kazakhstan. And Austria belongs to the countries possessing new technologies", A. Issekeshev said.

According to him, the Government of Kazakhstan is ready to provide tax preferences, subsidies, land parcels to the Austrian investors. Kazakhstan machine engineering plants are also interested in cooperation with Austrian companies.

Agricultural engineering, car industry, production of equipment for ore-mining and oil and gas sphere are the sectors presenting interest for Kazakhstan, the Minister noted.
