Government plans to attract USD 2.2 bln in 2012

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In 2012 the Government of Kazakhstan plans to attract USD 2 billion foreign borrowings. Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev has announced at the department's board meeting.
According to the Minister, it is planned to attract foreign borrowings for financing project "the New transport system of Astana", he second stage of the project "Improvement of irrigation and drainage systems." Besides, foreign loans will be attracted within the large-scale project "International transit corridor "Western Europe-Western China."
