Government officials are the servants of the people, says President

"You should always bear in mind that the Corps A is not the elite, as some people say. Do not forget that your are the servants of the people. You cannot be indifferent: you should listen very attentively and answer people's questions honestly. If you can help, then, do it. If you don't, if you cannot be of any help, then, just say it," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

According to the President, governmental officials should carry on an open and honest conversation with the people, be able to persuade them.

"You should look neat. You know that the first impressions are most lasting. Government officials should inspire respect," the Kazakh leader concluded.
