Government not to reduce the staff in connection with the transfer of certain powers

"Office of the Government will not be reduced," said Y. Dossayev, presenting to the Senate draft of the Constitutional Law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the division of powers between state administration bodies."

As Kazinform previously reported, the bill provides for transfer of 1606 Government functions to central executive bodies, however, a number of functions will be transferred to local authorities.
