ASTANA. January 27. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has instructed the Government to develop a comprehensive program for development of towns.
"Usually, small towns depend on one enterprise or one industry," Nazarbayev said. He noted that the tragedy in Zhanaozen revealed that small towns are most vulnerable to social risks. "The program must include measures to diversify each town, develop social sector and SMEs."
