Government approves Forced Industrial-Innovative Development Program for 2010-2014
ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The members of the Cabinet have approved the Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014 today at the session of the Kazakh Government.
"I think the program was efficiently worked over. But the key issue is to realize it quickly", Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov said.
As Minister of Industry and Trade Asset Issekeshev said, within the program's realization Kazakhstan must achieve the following results by 2014: the GDP growth by 50% compared to 2008, development of labor productivity by 50% in the reprocessing sector and by 100% in particular sectors of the economy, increase the non-oil and gas export rate by 40%, reduction of the GDP energy intensity by 10% of the level of 2008, increase of the number of innovative enterprises by 10% of the current index.
