Goalie Ari Ahonen may leave HC Barys Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Goalkeepers of HC Barys Astana Ari Ahonen and Pavel Poluektov have become the unrestricted free agents of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
That means they may sign with any club and leave the Astana squad. Cam Barker, Andrey Gavrilin, Vitaliy Yeremeyev, Konstantin Pushkarev, Dmitriy Upper and others were granted the analogous status as well. It is worth mentioning that Barys already signed new contracts with Yeremeyev, Gavrilin, Pushkarev and Upper. As reported earlier, HC Barys announced signing a three-year contract with Canadian defenseman Kevin Dallman on May 5.
