Global COVID-19 cases cross 109 million, death toll up to 2.4 million

NEW YORK. KAZINFORM The total number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across the world today surged to 109,604,788 while the global death toll climbed to 2,421,284.
Data by Johns Hopkins University, which is tracking the pandemic, showed that recoveries reached 61.6 million, WAM reports.
