Global competitiveness index informs of hard landing in education – Education Minister

ANA. August 24. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Last data of the global competitiveness index tell about hard landing in education of Kazakhstan; Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev said today at the session in Astana.
"There is decrease by eight indexes. We are worried by the fact that the traditionally sustained performance in coverage of the secondary education has reduced", - he noted.
According to the Minister the more thorough consideration of the secondary education coverage for 2008 shows that less students are enrolled in senior grades.
