German national team head coach: We want six points in matches with Kazakhstan

- We have actively been preparing for future games after a long pause, started the coach. - At present we are having matches , and then we will play only in September. Of course, our goal is to take six points to secure our position in the league position and prepare for the rest of the matches. Players are optimistic. There have been problems with the composition - 20 players and three goalkeepers, we have lost three for different reasons, and 17 have been left. But I decided not to call for anyone, because my players are able to show the result. If need be, I will address another players - the doors are open to all.

According to him, Podolski, Schweinsteiger and Khedira have had small health problems, but they are willing to go to the gym and take part in the contest.

He was asked about the recent announcement of additional qualifying stages for teams like Kazakhstan and San Marino.

- Kazakhstan is the ninth country on the area basis. I have two opinions about this: as a functionary, I believe that the game schedule is too tight, on the other hand, that is a feast for the "small" football nations, for their growth. Feast for the fans. I am therefore not against these meetings. As for the field, we wanted to play in Almaty, but FFK (Football Federation of Kazakhstan) has made a different decision. For us it does not matter where to play: on the artificial or natural field. We played in Astana couple years ago, and everything is sufficient for us.

Leo also noted that his team had a great selection in the attack.

- We need a striker who can support the ball and is ready to sharpen the game that can break a single touch and decide the meeting. Because the game takes place on an artificial field, it would be better to choose a small and moving forward. I can put Mario Goetze, who scored a beautiful goal here. But I noticed that your field is different from the artificial, where we have worked. I prefer versatile players at my disposal who are playing confidently in different positions. I will take a decision on the composition after the training, I will see the feelings of players, choose those who feel themselves comfortable on this surface. Perhaps Goetze and Gomez will take to the field at the same time. They are versatile, they can go to any position.
