German MFA awards Kazakh movie

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Bauyr film by Serik Aprymov gained the award of the German Foreign Ministry (Preis des Auswärtigen Amtes) and Eur 4,000 at the 14th Festival of Central and Eastern European Cinema goEast, Kazakhfilm said. It received the award for artistic originality that creates cultural diversity.
The festival held April 9-15 was founded in 2001. Its main goals are to raise public awareness of cultural development of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and contribute to widening a dialog between cinematographic schools.
