Gennady Golovkin gets back to training ahead of Murray showdown

KAZINFORM - After a big international press tour with stops in the cities of Monte Carlo, Astana, London and Mexico, WBA/IBO and WBC Interim middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin has returned to training in Big Bear Lake, California ahead of the February showdown vs. Martin Murray, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
With the help of his longtime trainer Abel Sanchez, GGG is set to defend his titles on February 21, 2015 in Monte Carlo. ‘It was a very busy time for me these last weeks but I liked spending time with the media and fans all over the world," Golovkin said speaking at the WBC Convention in Las Vegas on Monday. "I look forward to starting training camp with my coach and putting on another great show in Monte Carlo." Golovkin's promoter Tom Loeffler added that ‘GGG is the fastest rising international star in boxing.'
