Gennady ‘GGG' Golovkin to fight Martin Murray in Monaco?
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It looks like WBC silver middleweight champion Martin Murray wants a fight with Gennady ‘GGG' Golovkin, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
"I think he is a top fighter," Murray said of Golovkin. "He has crashed everybody who he has been in with, but I think I have got the tools to beat any middleweight out there. And I wouldn't be taking the fight if I didn't think I could win it. I think a lot of his opponents have gone into the fight already beat, whereas you won't get that with me. I'm going to go in there and stand up to him and I'm going to give him all he could handle," Murray told Boxingscene.com. Golovkin's promoter said that ‘GGG' plans to hold the next bout in Monaco and that Briton Martin Murray looks like the best candidate for it. Earlier it was reported that Gennady Golovkin KOed Marco Antonio Rubio in the second round of the bout held in California, the U.S. on October 19.
