GDP in Jan-Febr 2010 grew by 6.4% - Chairman of Statistics Agency

ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ In January-February 2010 the country's GDP grew by 6.4%, Alikhan Smailov, Chairman of the Kazakh Statistics Agency, has informed at a briefing today.
"In comparison with the same period in 2009 this year the GDP rose by 6.4%", Smailov said.
As is known, earlier at the Majilis' plenary session Prime Minister Karim Massimov informed of 6-7% growth in the country's GDP.
