"Turkey will not be able to re-export Russian gas, and further contracts will be drawn up on this principle," Alexei Miller told international scholars and academics from the Valdai Discussion Club.

A contract on the supply of six billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey is due to expire in 2011.

Miller also noted that Turkey was the second largest customer for Russian gas after Germany; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version.
