Galymzhan Koigeldiyev named Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan
Galymzhan Koigeldiyev has been appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports via Akorda.
Born on January 3, 1980, Galymzhan Koigeldiyev is a native of Zhambyl region. He is a graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University majoring in International Law.
He began his career as a lecturer of the Civil and Business Law Department of the Al-Farabi KazNU Law Faculty in Almaty (2004-2005).
From 2005 to 2011, he worked in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, serving as secretary of the Kazakh embassies in Mongolia and Iran.
From 2011 to 2022, he was deputy chief and chief of the International Cooperation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan.
On November 16, 2022 he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
