G-GLOBAL may coordinate international activities in economy, finance - Nazarbayev
ASTANA-MILAN. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has addressed the participants of the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) that kicked off in Milan today, Kazinform has learnt from the president's press service.
President Nazarbayev took the floor during the first plenary session under the theme Promoting Financial and Economic Cooperation through Enhanced Europe-Asia Connectivity. The President of Kazakhstan noted that Asia and Europe need to rediscover each other and build a brand new foundation for relations. Kazakhstan's G-GLOBAL initiative can become a platform for coordination of international activities in the sphere of economy and finance. Nursultan Nazarbayev also assured the participants that Kazakhstan as the member of the Asia-Europe forum is ready to facilitate development of dialogue and cooperation in the continent.
