Further development of trade - economic relations b/w Kazakhstan and the Netherlands discussed in the Hague

THE HAGUE. KAZINFORM - The meeting between H.E. Ms. M.Murzamadiyeva, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and H.E. Mr. H. Kamp, Minister of Economic Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held on November 6, 2014.

During the meeting parties covered a number of issues on bilateral trade - economic cooperation, ways of further intensification of realtions of two countries' business structures, in particular within the framework of the forthcoming visit of the Minister of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan accompanied by 30 leading Dutch companies and his participation at 25th Session of the Energy Charter Conference in Astana, according to Foreign Ministry. Ambassador Murzamadiyeva familiarized participants with available opportunities for development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands under the framework of state program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development and EXPO-2017 international exhibition. In addition, the Ambassador emphasized initiatives of the Kazakh Government in the form of a new package of incentives for foreign investors and businessmen, and also called Dutch businesses to use these opportunities. In his turn, Minister Kamp noticed growing interest of the Netherlands in further strengthening of cooperation in different spheres with the Republic of Kazakhstan, and emphasized the great authority of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on world arena. The Minister also praised the social and economic transformation of Kazakhstan, its political stability and growing attractiveness of the region as a whole. Following the meeting substantive agreement was reached on activation of economic dialogue and joint preparation for the visit of Dutch delegation to Kazakhstan.
