Funke-Kunststoffe 1st German processing industry venture moves to Kazakhstan

The agreement on the construction of a plant for production of PVC profiles and TFC-tube was achieved in 2010 with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany and the direct involvement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan and "KazNeksInvest" JSC.

The project with total investment of 25 million euros is coming to the final stage of implementation. «Funke-Kunststoffe» will launch its production process in Astana in the coming months.

The plant with 80 employees, 28 of them are from Germany, will be equipped with the most advanced production equipment, and the quality of products manufactured under the brand name of the company, will fully meet international standards. Beginning July of this year the products of the company manufactured in Kazakhstan will be actively supplied not only to Kazakhstan, but also to Eastern Europe and Asia.

The German investor is firmly convinced that the opening production in Kazakhstan is true, quite deliberate and strategic verified decision of the company. Thus, the manufacturer will not only reduce the physical distance to potential customers of about 4.5 thousand kilometers, but also reduces costs through exemption from customs payments, making the company's output more attractive and competitive.
