French President expresses condolences to Kazakh President for flood in Almaty region

ASTANA. March 16. KAZINFORM. President of France Nicolas Sarkozy sent a letter of condolence to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of the flood in Almaty region; Kazinform refers to the press service of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan.
"It was with deep regret that I learned of the flood that happened in Almaty region, and by preliminary data, claimed lives of at least 25 your compatriots. In these tragic circumstances I express my sincere condolences to You and to the bereaved families", the letter reads.
