Francesco Frangialli to be appointed Advisor to Kazakh PM

ASTANA. June 2. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Former Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Francesco Frangialli will render counseling assistance to Kazakhstan in preparation for the 18th session of the UNWTO General Assembly and development of tourism and touristic cluster.
The foreign guest arrived in Kazakhstan on the invitation of Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Minister of Tourism and Sport Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov.
As Vice Minister of Tourism and Sport Kairbek Uskenbayev noted, F.Frangialli will be appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister for preparation and holding of the 18th session of the WTO General Assembly for the period of October 2-9, 2009.
Election of new Secretary General of the UNWTO is planned within the session. F.Frangialli will be nominated for Honorary Secretary General as a man, devoted 19 years to the development of the Organization.
Representatives of 153 countries and joined members, representing private enterprises, educational institutions, tourist associations and tourist administrations of the world will take part in the 18th session of the UNWTO General Assembly.
