Framework agr't - first step toward further financing of Kazakh projects by EIB
BRUSSELS. April 10. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Signing of the framework agreement is the first step toward further financing of Kazakhstan projects by the European Investment Bank. President of the EIB Philippe Maystadt said it after the signing ceremony in Brussels on Saturday.
"We appreciate and welcome the economic reforms that were held in Kazakhstan. These reforms will help Kazakhstan overcome negative consequences of the world financial and economic crisis and create favorable conditions for foreign investors in the country", Mr. Maystadt noted.
The Framework Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and European Investment Bank on regulation of the Bank's activity in Kazakhstan was signed by Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev from the Kazakh side and Philippe Maystadt - from the foreign side.
