Four outpatient clinics under construction in N Kazakhstan

ASTANA. December 6. KAZINFORM Four outpatient clinics are under construction in northern Kazakhstan, governor of the region Samat Eskendirov told the Friday press conference of the Center Communications Service.
"The work under the "Salamatty Kazakhstan" State Program allowed to stabilize core health care indicators in the region that have considerably improved this year. The region has experienced a birth wave (2.2% increase). General mortality rate has gone down by 3%, infant mortality - by 23%, and tuberculosis case rate - by 18.6%," the head of the North Kazakhstan region said.
According to Mr. Eskendirov, 675 cardiac and vascular surgeries have been performed in the region throughout 11 months of this year.
