Forum of Asian universities to be held within VII AEF

"The Forum will bring together more than 100 heads of universities from 40 countries. Plenary Session "The internationalization of universities of the Eurasian space" will be held May 21 at the Palace of Independence in Astana. The forum will continue to work on May 22-23 in Almaty in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University", the statement reads. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the co-organizers are the Organizing Committee of the VII Astana Economic Forum, the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists, the National Academy of Higher School of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Seoul National University. The event was also supported by international organizations - the United Nations, UNESCO, the Consortium of Universities of the world, the European federation of national engineering associations (FEANI), "Greenmetric World University Ranking", International Association of Universities, etc. Conceptual framework and topics of the forum have been devoted to the ideas of the President including "G-Global" and "Green Bridge" with a focus on sustainable development. The forum will discuss and adopt "Model plan for sustainable development" worked out by the university as a Global hub of the UN program "Academic Impact". "Green Bridge through Generation" virtual platform has been already opened for discussion.
