MOSCOW. September 28. KAZINFORM Former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov quitted the United Russia Party, the Moscow government press service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"The press service of the mayor and the Moscow government confirms that Yuri Luzhkov really requested in the United Russia Supreme Political Council to withdraw from the United Russia Party, but he thanked the Moscow branch of the United Russia Party for their support to him," the press service reported.
