Foreign ministers of Turkic-speaking states deplore violence in Egypt
BAKU. August 16. KAZINFORM The foreign affairs ministers of member states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States deplore rallies taking place in Egypt.
They issued a joint statement on Friday at the III Summit of the organization which is underway in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
"We deplore the fatalities and injuries sustained by people as a result of use of force in response to the ongoing demonstrations in Egypt. We believe that the deaths among civilians are unacceptable and condole with the families of those killed and wish full recovery to the injured," the statement reads.
The foreign affairs ministers of the CCTSS pointed out the need for establishment of peace in Egypt and urged to restore security, democracy and stability in the country.
