Foreign Investors' Council to gather in Astana

ASTANA. May 5. KAZINFORM The 24th plenary meeting of the Foreign Investors' Council (FIC) chaired by President Nazarbayev will take place in Astana on May 18.
The meeting will focus on solutions to raise labour efficiency and further modernisation of enterprises in Kazakhstan. The FIC is an advisory body established in 1998 by a decree of the President of Kazakhstan to promote direct dialogue between the nation's leaders and foreign investors in order to efficiently address key issues related to their investment activities in the country. The FIC includes executives of largest foreign corporations investing in Kazakhstan's economy, the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.
