Foreign debt of banking sector reduced twofold - G.Marchenko

ALMATY. July 14. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "The foreign debt of the banking sector of Kazakhstan was up to USD 46 bln at its highest level. Today it makes USD 23.5 bln", Chairman of the National Bank Grigory Marchenko has said today at a press conference in Almaty.
Besides, G.Marchenko noted that the external assets of the banking sector are up to USD 22 bln. According to the National Bank Chairman, after the completion of banks restructuring and debts relief the foreign assets of the banking sector will exceed their foreign debts.
