According to Deputy Foreign Minister Kairat Sarybai, these dictionaries are based on the Kazakh-Russian dictionaries and reference books which were published in 2004 and 2006. The textbooks contain phrases and terms related to the field of diplomacy, contemporary foreign policy and international relations. They are designed for diplomats, translators, teachers and students. The authors are a group of experts led by the vice-minister.

"What matters most is the fact that in the dictionary there are standards of writing the names of countries and their capitals in the Kazakh language. I hope that these books will compensate the deficit in dictionaries within the diplomatic service", stressed Mr. Sarybai, adding that the agency plans to release the English-Kazakh-Russian dictionary.
