Forced Industrial-Innovative Development Program to be major strategic document for next 5 years

ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM. /Rassul Bakhamov/ State Program on Kazakhstan's Industrial Innovative Development will be a major strategic economic document for the next 5 years. Kazakh Minister of Industry and Trade Asset Issekeshev has made it public at the Government's sitting today.

New system of state planning provides rigid hierarchy and optimization of all programs and strategic documents of our country, he said.

Sectoral development programs will be approved and submitted for the Government's consideration till the end of March, the Minister informed.

According to him, the development of sectoral programs is based on 23 master plans, which allowed to define optimal production technologies, potential markets and the level of competition as well as the opportunity of small and medium businesses' participation.

A. Issekeshev noted that the regional programs should be oriented at a business model. "The regional akimats must study the competitive advantages of their regions", he stressed.
