For a Nuclear-Free World Forum ended with unveiling of a new monument
RCHATOV. October 14. KAZINFORM For a Nuclear-Free World Forum that gathered representatives from 30 countries of the world in Kazakhstan has come to an end. A 20,000 people meeting in Semey and unveiling of a new monument, Stela of the World - a mirror reflection of the world-famous Stronger than Death monument, were the finishing touch of the international forum.
As earlier reported, the forum brought together reps of the UN, IAEA, diplomatic missions of Russia, China, India, France, governments of Japan, Norway, Germany, the US and international organizations.
