Folk festival to mark 20th anniversary of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A republican festival "Menin Kazakhstanym" (I am Kazakhstani) will be held to commemorate the 20 anniversary of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Majilisman Murat Akhmadiyev announced at a press conference at KazMedia Center on Thursday.
"I put forward the proposal to hold the festival of ethno-cultural associations "Menin Kazakhstanym," the member of the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament said. The festival that will be divided into three stages will bring together performers of folk songs. Winners of the festival are set to perform at a gala concert. "The final is expected to be held on March 1 in Astana," he added.
